- Hat with brim (for trips, baseball cap is recommended)

- 2 pairs of comfortable long pants which you don't mind being messed up for hikes

- Comfortable sneakers or walking shoes without heels or sandals
- Shoes for walking through water (crocs are fine, flip flops aren’t)
- Hiking boots (or sturdy sneakers)
- Toiletries (wrap any shampoo or the like in plastic bags to avoid spillage should the container burst from weight or pressure) soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste
- Basic medication e.g. sunscreen, pain relief pills for headaches or stomachaches, Mosquito repellent, anti-bite cream
We recommend bringing some modest clothing (skirts covering to the knees for women, head coverings for men, shirts covering shoulders, etc.) to wear on Shabbat and when visiting religious areas and sites (jacket and tie is unnecessary).
