My time in Israel revealed a lot about my religion, people, and beliefs.  I was able to attend classes that showed the great contribution that Jews have made to the world... and I began to reassess my thoughts and see Judaism not as just history, but as a part of everyday life.  The touring on the program brought Israel alive, strengthening my support for the Jewish state, as well as my feeling of connection with Jews all over the world. From the Golan to Masada, from the Western Wall to Tel Aviv, Israel was alive with history and spirituality, fostering Jewish identity and pride.  I would never have been able to experience all of this had it not been for birthright and Aish.
